"I Love You But Damn" is a personal, autobiographical song about love and distance. Centered around the earliest days of lead singers Kim West and Ryan Devlin's relationship, the tune taps into the pain of being far away from someone you love and the late nights, long conversations, and loss of confidence that often results. It's about learning who you are and the journey to find yourself worthy of love.
